According to Amazon Games via Steam News, Lost Ark’s March update will bring significant changes to Guardian Raids, a long-awaited balance patch, and a new progression event. The update aims to keep momentum strong following the recent launch of the Guardianknight class.
Progression Event: Guardianknight Challenge
A new progression event, tentatively titled Guardianknight Challenge, is in development to help players push into endgame content. It will target players progressing on current event characters or those seeking a boost for another character ahead of the next raid, Serca, arriving in April. Final details will be shared closer to the update.
Balance Update
Smilegate’s recent balance update from Korea will be included in the March update, bringing key adjustments to classes. Amazon Games is committed to releasing these changes as quickly as possible.
Guardian Raid Overhaul
Guardian Raids receive major convenience improvements:
- Revival limit removed (except for Trial Guardian Hanumatan)
- New Target Information UI
- Guardians always visible on mini-map, no longer move between areas
- Smaller combat zones
- Combat Support buff for parties without support classes
- Reduced HP scaling for solo and 2-player runs
- New Stagger system: each successful stagger permanently increases damage taken (stackable)
- Several Battle Items (Flares, Brilliant Flares, Pheromone Essence, Repair Shop Portal Scrolls) removed and converted to Functional Battle Item Chests
Raid Adjustments
Kazeros Raid Act 4 and Kazeros Denouement: Final Day receive adjustments across gates and difficulty modes, including eased attacks, better telegraphing, and HP tweaks. In Gate 2, Kazeros will now die when reaching 0 HP bars in the first section. Act 3: Night of Storms and Darkness Gate 1 will end immediately when Thaemine or Infernas’ HP is fully depleted.
Story Chapter & Paradise Season 3
As previously announced in the roadmap, the story chapter and Paradise Season 3 content will also arrive in March, though details were not expanded upon in this update.
Full release notes with the complete list of changes will be available before the update.
